The Woodland Trust is offering hundreds of thousands of free trees for schools and communities across the UK to support the country’s goal of reaching its 2050 carbon net-zero target.
Here’s how you can claim your free trees:
- Click the “GET FREEBIE” button below to visit the Woodland Trust website.
- Scroll down to the section titled “Request a free tree pack for your school or community”.
- Choose a tree pack that suits your needs.
- Fill in the required form, providing the six-digit grid reference for the land where you plan to plant the trees.
This initiative is open to schools, nurseries, colleges, universities, outdoor learning centers, and various community groups. Whether you’re part of an established organisation or planning to set up a group for the purpose of planting, as long as you’re not-for-profit, you can participate.
They will start sending the trees in March 2024.
